These resolutions are mostly about health and wellness, which is why they should be on your top priority as well!
TREASURE YOUR HEALTH
Taking care of your health is one of the primary things we are taught to do in life. However, as we grow old we only become more and more negligent. Taking care of your health should be a part of your lifestyle and the year 2020 is when you should start. One of the easiest, yet the most neglected tip is to drink a lot of water. Another tip, a little more difficult to execute would be, to exercise regularly. For starters try to exercise thrice a week and then move up you dose as you go along. Make sure to be regular with whatever health tips you have decided to follow from now on. Be regular for one month, after which it will just become another habit that you can’t get rid of.
Another bad habit that we are all guilty of, especially the generations after millennials is to not sleep properly. Sleeping disorders are becoming increasingly popular, thanks to our increasing addiction to technology. The more you stay online or on your phone, the more you will be awake at night, leading to insomnia and what not. Sleep has an effect on everything that we do. From irritability to drowsiness, the ill effects of sleep disorders can become a part of our life. So much so, that we might not even realise what is wrong with us. Make sure to sleep well at night firstly, by staying away from your phone at night and secondly, by not snoozing your alarm too often in the morning.
FOCUS ON YOUR MENTAL HEALTH
Another important factor of our life that we just pay no attention to is our mental health. For most of you all, this might not even be on your resolutions’ list. If it is not on the list, please do add it. Prioritising your happiness and mental health is above everything else, even your work. You won’t be able to give your 100% into your work if you are not in a healthy state of mind. Don’t run from your problems, face them. We all have our set of issues and being healthy will involve you dealing with them. Stop and think and be conscious of yourself. Even if you are healthy now, you need to remember to constantly keep a check, just like you would on your physical health.
