The Looks That Stole The Show At The Fashion Awards 2019

The Fashion Awards, formerly known as the British Fashion Awards, were celebrated on the 2nd of December, 2019. The first Monday of December welcomed thousands of celebrities and fashion designers. The red carpet has become a designated moment and invitation for all the fashion icons to put on their thinking hats and come up with a mind blowing look. Some manage to pull together a great look and some do not. Considering this was a moment for all the designers to put their best foot forward, we did get to see a lot of great looks!

The Fashion Awards 2019

Little Simz opened the show and in style. She wore a Gucci pant suit at the red carpet and looked drop dead gorgeous. She wore a classic Gucci printed shirt with an intresting drop down tie detailing. The blazer and pant were a dark blue with a detailed trim on the edges. She wore a bright orange hat and kept the accessorising extremely minimal. To be honest, her colour blocking made quite a statement as it is without needing any accessories to lift up the look.

Tracee was the official host of the show and changed quite some outfits. As great as all her outfits were, our favourite remains the white dress she walked the red carpet in. She wore a dress by Loewe. It featured thin delicate straps and matching white heels. The handkerchief dress by Loewe is a look from the runway that all remember for its sheer beauty. Paired with an embellished neckline, the look was simple yet effective. The credit goes to the designer for the silhouette and the textured fabric-panels were perfection!

After a long while of an exile from the red carpet, Prada made its way back with Pixie Geldof. Pixie wore a nude embellished dress from Prada. She looked like an elegant goddess in the dress. The red head band was what elevated the look. The contrasting red draws one’s eyes instantly. She wore a matching clutch and kept the rest of her styling minimal. The dress was not out of the box or refreshing however, the look in its entirety was.

The model and ambassador for She’s The First, Imaan looked absolutely stunning in an oversized pant suit by Fenty. She wore an all-black satin pant suit by Rihanna’s fashion brand. The top of the suit looked like a blazer but was completely backless. The identity of Fendi so long has been the same as Rihanna’s, i.e., statement and sexy. Imaan wore some subtle mismatched diamond earrings and a diamond necklace. Fendi made a memorable impact and put together a look that was elegant, yet sexy.
